«Zhigulyovskaya Dolina» welcomes members of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia
The congress centre of the Zhigulevskaya Valley Technopark in Togliatti is hosting a general meeting of members of the Association of Russian Clusters, Technoparks and Special Economic Zones (AKIT RF). Participants include representatives of management companies of technoparks and SEZs, industrial clusters, development corporations from 50 regions of the Russian Federation - organisations which are directly involved in the development of infrastructure and attraction of investments in the regions.
Welcoming speech by Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, was read by Mikhail Labudin, First Deputy Director of ACIT: "Today domestic industrial enterprises are facing new opportunities in ensuring technological sovereignty and development of cooperation links. The Government of the Russian Federation, in particular the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is implementing both system-wide measures to support investment projects and mechanisms to create a ready industrial infrastructure. I am confident that this will accelerate the resolution of tasks to provide the domestic industry with the necessary technologies and component base".
Andrey Shpilenko, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia, spoke about the significance of the event:
"The Annual General Meeting of members of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia has started. For the first time it is held not in Moscow, but on the territory of the operating technopark, and one of the best in the country - "Zhigulyov valley". Together with the members of the Association, we discussed the mechanisms in place from January 1, 2023, aimed at import substitution, the formation of industrial clusters and attracting investment. We also discussed in great detail the development of all kinds of industrial infrastructure and SEZs. I am sure that today's event will become a platform for recommendations and proposals, including those used for adoption of legislative initiatives".
This is not the first time the Samara region has become a platform for events of the federal level. Investment sites are successfully developing here, all special regimes for business and investors are in place. The Zhigulevskaya Valley Technopark is among the top three most efficient in the country, and the special economic zone is regularly rated by experts as one of the best similar sites in Russia.

We discussed with our colleagues from different regions the work on support of technological start-ups, industrial enterprises," said Dmitry Bogdanov, Minister of Economic Development and Investment of the Samara Region. - Thanks to the systematic work of the regional government headed by Governor Dmitry Azarov, all conditions for business development have been created in the Samara Region. We are always ready to share our experience with other regions - members of the Association, as well as to adopt their successful practices".
