The BRICS SEZ digital investment platform was presented in Nizhny Novgorod

The presentation of the digital platform, the BRICS SEZ Investment Navigator, took place at the III International Forum of Special Economic Zones in Nizhny Novgorod. The development was implemented by the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia together with the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation as part of the activities of the BRICS International SEZ Association.

The Invest Navigator is conceived as a single digital ecosystem, which contains an interactive map of the SEZs of the BRICS countries, information on government support measures, tax and customs benefits, as well as contacts of management companies. The platform allows investors to choose a site online, apply for residency, and find partners to set up joint ventures.

According to Mikhail Labudin, director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia, the work was carried out in response to a request from foreign investors.:

"We have created a tool that gives businesses access to information about more than three thousand preferential territories in the BRICS countries. It helps to minimize costs, speed up administrative procedures, and integrate into international supply chains. Our goal is for the platform to become a practical service for companies planning to develop production and export globally."

The BRICS International SEZ Association unites ten participating countries, which have over 3.1 thousand preferential industrial sites with a total investment of about $200 billion. The Association acts as a platform for developing common approaches to the development of SEZs, exchanging best practices and creating new opportunities for residents of the zones of the Alliance member states.
