The Association of Clusters, Technology Parks, and Special Economic Zones of Russia is strengthening its dialogue with Vietnam
The Association of Clusters, Technology Parks, and Special Economic Zones of Russia is expanding its international cooperation with ASEAN countries. A working meeting between Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association, and Nguyen Mai Hong, Representative of the Vietnamese Business Community to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and Advisor on ASEAN Countries, took place in Moscow.
The talks focused on possible investment cooperation formats and identifying common ground between Russian industrial infrastructure and the interests of Vietnamese investors. The discussions focused on the tools of special economic zones and technology parks, as well as analytical tools that allow foreign businesses to assess the potential of Russian sites.
As Nguyen Mai Hong noted, Vietnam maintains a strong interest in returning to and expanding its presence in the Russian market.
"Vietnam has demonstrated a strong interest in returning to and expanding its presence in the Russian market, including in manufacturing, technology projects, and related sectors." "The Russian side offers a clear investor support architecture and a transparent ecosystem for investment decision-making," emphasized a representative of the Vietnamese business community at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
For its part, the Association presented its approach to supporting international investors, including the use of analytical tools and expert formats for assessing the investment attractiveness of Russian sites.
In particular, during the meeting, Mikhail Labudin proposed that Nguyen Mai Hong join the Expert Council of the National Rating of Investment Attractiveness of Special Economic Zones of Russia. It is expected that the participation of an international expert will strengthen the rating's external expertise and take into account the practices of ASEAN countries.
"Such meetings are part of the Association's systematic work to build long-term international partnerships. Detailed parameters of potential projects and formats for further cooperation will be worked out during the next stages of negotiations," noted Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks, and SEZs of Russia.
