On October 3 and 4, the second International Forum of Special Economic Zones - 2024 will be held in Dubna, Moscow Region

On October 3 and 4, the second international forum of special economic zones - 2024 will be held in Dubna near Moscow. The event is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia, the Government of the Moscow Region, and the Dubna Special Economic Zone. 

The forum will bring together representatives of free and special economic zones, business community, industry associations, development institutions, banks and state authorities. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak is expected to be among the honorable participants of the forum.

“In the conditions of global changes and new challenges, the development of international trade and industrial cooperation on the basis of special economic zones becomes not just relevant, but vital. Our forum provides a unique platform for sharing experience and implementing best management practices between Russian regions and BRICS countries. Sustainable and low-carbon development, as well as the introduction of ESG banking tools to create 'green' SEZ infrastructure is not only a challenge, but also a huge opportunity to secure the future of our economies,” said Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia.

The Forum will be attended by government and business representatives from Ethiopia, Nigeria, UAE, China, Egypt, Malaysia, Republic of Belarus, Turkey, Iran, South Africa, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
