National projects, ESG and sustainable development: the results of the Vladimir Industrial and Investment Congress summarized

The Vladimir Industrial and Investment Congress ended in the Vladimir Region, where participants discussed tools to increase the investment attractiveness of the region and business incentive mechanisms for the accelerated implementation of national projects. The participants noted the importance of joint work - federal and regional authorities and business - in these areas.

Also, the initiative of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District Igor Shchegolev on the creation of a rating of conscientious entrepreneurs - the ECG rating (ecology, personnel, state) was developed.

Andrey Shpilenko, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technology parks and SEZ of Russia, moderated the plenary session of the Congress. Also taking part in the event were Igor Shchegolev, Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District, Acting Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev, Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District Artur Niyazmetov, founder of Askona Group of Companies Vladimir Sedov and a number of other speakers.

Igor Shchegolev presented his initiative to create an ECG rating, which will help determine the most conscientious investors, and based on this rating, entrepreneurs, medium and large businesses will be primarily supported.

The director of the ACTP of the Russian Federation suggested that the enterprises of the automotive industry of the Vladimir region establish cooperation with colleagues from the Nizhny Novgorod region and enter their industrial automotive cluster. “The industrial cluster tool will now be rebooted and will start to provide very strong support for enterprises that create such a cluster. The Vladimir region has a developed industry and even greater potential, therefore it is expedient to create an interregional one together with the Nizhny Novgorod region, where a regional automobile cluster is already operating. This will give a synergistic effect to the two regions,” said Andriy Shpilenko.

The director of ACTP of the Russian Federation also proposed to create an industrial technopark in the Vladimir region, aimed at achieving sustainable development goals, on the basis of Rusklimat. All proposals were supported: work on them will begin in the near future.

Also, within the framework of the Vladimir Industrial and Investment Congress, Andrei Shpilenko, Director of the ACIT of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Avdeev, Acting Governor of the Vladimir Region, signed a cooperation agreement. It will be aimed at developing cooperative ties between the Vladimir region and the industrial infrastructure of the region.
