Timofey Buneev, Head of Sustainable Development and International Cooperation at the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia, spoke at the BRICS Public-Private Dialogue: “Effective Tandem of State and Business: How to Support the Space Industry in the Face of External Challenges” section of the Zhukovsky Space Readings.
The speaker highlighted the industry tools that can be effectively used by space industry companies today, namely industrial clusters and infrastructure sites with preferential treatment.
“Today we see how the BRICS countries are effectively combining these tools. For example: in the UAE, an aerospace cluster is being developed on the site of the Masdar City FEZ. It is important for business to know about similar opportunities in Russia, so special attention was paid to the International Association of SEZs of BRICS countries, which will open up new opportunities for the development of trade and industrial cooperation in the association,” Timofei Buneev said.
