OmSAU rose six points in the ARES Euro-rating
According to the European Scientific and Industrial Chamber on the conformity of the European Union standards for higher education institutions, the Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster), having risen on six points in the Academic Ranking of the World Universities-European Standard (ARES) for 2018 , took 136 th place. The purpose of compiling an international rating of ARES-2018 is to assess the ability of universities to provide students with the necessary knowledge, to participate in research activities, and to actively communicate with future employers.
The rating includes only three Omsk universities. In addition to OmSAU, Omsk State Medical University is included in the rating - 78th place (BB category), Omsk State Technical University - 126th place (category B +). It is worth noting that the rating included only nine agrarian universities from Russia, of them Omsk State Agrarian University is on the fifth place (the third - among the leading agrarian ones).
