In same language with foreign partners: Business Navigator for SEZ now has English translation
Association for the Development of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia is glad to present “II Business Navigator for Special Economic Zones” prepared together with Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The English version of Navigator will be posted on the official websites of Russian trade missions, federal executive governments and development institutions.

The Navigator is first and only business publication in Russia systematically setting out advantages of locating enterprises and organizations in the SEZ for potential investors. All investment projects are based on an analysis of conditions of already going activities.

President of Russia has set on ambitious mission to increase investments in fixed assets up to 25% of GDP, to establish a high-performance export-oriented sector in the basic sectors of economy (first of all in manufacturing industry). This sectors have to be developing on the basis of modern technologies and be provided with highly qualitied personnel. There should be created comfortable conditions for doing business to solve this mission. That will increase investment activity and attractiveness of high-tech industries in Russia, also including the implementation of an active policy of attraction foreign direct investments. The Navigator is creating different level of view of the problem of choosing optimal site for implementing investment project on its territory and providing actual information about all Russian SEZs in a language understandable for foreign companies, - commented director of the Association Andrei Shpilenko.
Experts of the Association with support of Ministry of Economic Development of Russia analyzed 16 SEZs from 13 regions of Russia including nine industrial-production, six technology – innovation and one port SEZs.

It is a pleasure that independent organizations like Association for the Development of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia participated our mission to improve the conditions for attracting additional inflow of investments in the financial sector of Russia together with sectoral region authorities. For the second year in a row we are developing the Navigator together with the Association. It made great contribution to improving of quality of one of the most respectable development tools, special economic zones of Russia, and created additional conditions for attraction more new investors from all around the world. In many ways this is facilitated by the expansion of the information field with edition of this business publication. I am sure that English version of the Navigator will allow many companies interested in investing in Russia to calculate the real effect of their projects at sites of SEZ more accurately. Also it will allow to attract more foreign residents, - said Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Vadim Zhivulin.
According to the results of the Investment Attractiveness Rating of Special Economic Zone of Russia attached to the Navigator, SEZ of the industrial and production type “Alabuga” has taken first place. Second place was given to SEZ “Dubna” and third – to Technopolis “Moscow”.

In additional Association for the Development of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia started to prepare III Business Navigator for Special Economic Zones of Russia. The Expert Council of third edition is already formed. The Expert Council unites 25 expects from leading industrial companies, Russian and international financial and credit organizations, institutions of development and consulting: “ChimPromEngineering”, Group of companies “Titan”, Ernst & Young, “Arnest”, Industrial Development Fund, Gazprombank, Eurasian Development Bank, VEB RF, National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Republic of Kazakhstan and others.
